SMS still generates the majority of an operator's wireless data revenue, and as new services are deployed in the market, more messaging infrastructure is needed. Real time charging of SMS services for prepaid and postpaid customers must be done effectively to sustain the ongoing development on new SMS services.

Whether the network is IS-41, GSM, GPRS o 3G, IN Switch Interceptor is the ideal solution that allows SMS on line charging for both prepaid and post paid subscribers. It may be configured as non-intrusive, high impedance, passive monitor, or as a SS7 low-level signaling interceptor, for both MO and MT SMS.

SCALABILITY
IN Switch Interceptor on line charging capacity is increased incrementally, from a few messages per second to a very high capacity of a few thousand of messages per second. Moreover, the Interceptor platform has been designed with a modular architecture, allowing the addition of new software modules that may implement new charging systems for other services (ex. Ringtones).
