Communication through SMS is becoming widely used by operators to send promotional campaigns and special announcements to their subscribers. IN Switch's SMS Broadcast allows distribution of SMS messages to larger groups in a broadcast mode with a wide variety of configuration and features. Product description IN Switch's SMS Broadcast is provided as a whole broadcast platform or as a standalone application providing a quick and simple way to send SMS messages to a large list of recipients. Messages are delivered either through the operator's SMSC using SMPP protocol or through the SS7 network (MAP protocol) without requiring the SMSC, allowing the operator to keep the SMSC dedicated to mission critical subscriber-to-subscriber SMS messaging. Broadcast campaigns are loaded into the platform through the web administration interface and scheduled for delivery. Multiple campaigns can be scheduled at the same time as independent SMS sending rates can be configured. A result file is generated at the end of the broadcast where it's possible to check whether the SMS has indeed reached the intended recipients or not. |
