Camel Gateway


CAMEL allows access of roaming subscribers to their full portfolio of IN services. The benefits of CAMEL are widely known and its architecture provides great flexibility and overall development and deployment of IN services at lower costs. Applications utilize CAMEL for providing advanced services to subscribers within the operator's network as well as when roaming between networks. Nevertheless, the implementation of such services requires a simplified interface and protocol for external applications to interface with IN platforms. IN Switch's CAMEL Gateway is the perfect turnkey solution for operators and service providers for providing IN Value Added Services. It acts as a gateway between applications and the GSM network.

Product description

IN Switch CAMEL gateway helps mobile operators to capture the prepaid roaming market and provides a standard-based interface (XML) for easier development or customization of existing or new IN services, using standard web tools.

IN Switch CAMEL Gateway supports a tier of convenient functions for developing applications employing CAMEL phase 3 through the most recent 3GPP.

It allows the implementation of applications located at existing IN platforms such as SCP and SSP to bind to emerging wireless requirements.
