With more and more prepaid subscribers emerging, a prepaid service for international roaming is increasingly becoming a necessity for both mobile operators and users. This situation forced the mobile network standards bodies to develop CAMEL (Customized Applications for Mobile network Enhanced Logic), a standard for IN services in mobile networks. As more 2G and 3G networks embrace the CAMEL standard the variety of services available will increase dramatically.

IN Switch CAMEL Service Creation Environment faces this challenge letting carriers, network operators and system integrators create and deploy new and original CAMEL services fast and cost effective, controlling and safeguarding investments in equipment and applications.

Product description

CAMEL Service Creation Environment (SCE) includes a CAMEL Service Builder (part of IMIX Service Builder) and an Application Server for developing and deploying new CAMEL services. CAMEL Service Builder is a graphical user interface for easy service creation, and it uses the Application Server to interact with the GSM network.

Thus, the established platform will act as a gsmSCF in the IN network.

These tools make the perfect solution, ensuring flexibility to create triggered applications, taking advantage of all CAMEL prepaid features, and easily reconfigure the applications for a diverse range of services.
